The IGNTD™ Hero Program is a perfect fit for ANYONE who is serious about changing their substance use or compulsive behaviors or anyone who has a close loved one who is in need of help. Participation in the program will help both those who struggle AND their family members understand the problem in a new way, discover new approaches to resolving their problems and identify and develop a comprehensive and individualized path forward.

It is NOT a good fit for those who have a strong physical addiction to alcohol – finding yourself physically dependent and suffering from serious withdrawal symptoms – such as delirium tremens or hallucinations – upon your attempts to quit or cut back. These individuals can greatly benefit from this course but may require medically supervised detoxification to stop their substance use first (please consult your physician).

NO! According to our clients, that is one of the best aspects of the IGNTD™ Hero program. You don’t make any change until you are ready, empowered and feeling good about it. Deprivation creates stress and stress makes us act out. The point is to absorb the information in a state of mind that is positive and hopeful – so you will never be asked to make a change before you are ready to embrace it.

Over the years we've given the program away for very cheap or free. But the truth is, every time we gave the program away for free, no one ever completed it. Actually, they didn't even start it at all. Why? Because you have to be committed if you want it to work. But first, you have to want it to work for you. And so by charging for the program, it holds people somewhat accountable. They show up and do the work because they've already committed (with their wallet). Furthermore, we are a small team here at IGNTD™, but in order to make sure they show up and serve the IGNTD™ community every day,we have to make sure every team member is earning a living wage. To date, IGNTD™ hasn't made any profit because the money from membership fees goes to paying our staff and growing (and continuously improving) the technology for the programs.

We understand that not everyone is financially ready to commit to the IGNTD™ Hero Program. This is why we make sure to provide loads of free content across various channels including the IGNTD™ podcast 2-3x per week, the column on Psychology Today, the Free Recovery Workshop, the weekly email newsletter, daily inspiration on social channels and loads of other free stuff we put out regularly. Dr. Jaffe even gives his book, The Abstinence Myth, away for free (all you pay is shipping). We really try to do our best to make sure that ANYONE can afford to take part in this incredible work!

No, we do not issue refunds. However, because this is a monthly subscription, you can cancel anytime if you feel like the IGNTD™ Hero Program is not the right fit. But let me just say this, the program only works if you do. Even if addiction were a disease (it's not), this would not be the miracle cure. Instead, think of IGNTD™ like a toolbox filled with all the support, methods, inspiration, and exercises you need to take back your power and overcome your addiction. We're happy to give you the tools, but then you have to use them.

Anyone who enrolls in the program gets access to our Private Community where other members and moderators can support you through changes. And for those who participate in our Elite Program, there are annual private events where all members gather to create a special, one-of-a-kind recovery community that doesn't exist ANYWHERE else!

He knows what it's like to start over a thousand times, to beg for forgiveness from the ones he's loved most, and to get back up and do it all again. AA didn't work for him longterm. He couldn't stand the shame it instilled and kept making everything worse. He knew there had to be a better way, so after a decade of working in the field, he developed his own approach. The IGNTD™ Hero Program is a polished version of the methods and tools he used to repair his own relationship, self-esteem, and life. How do we know it works? Because it worked for him.

Rehab is expensive, requires a complete restructuring of life and most people are completely resistant to it. This is why only 10% of people who need help go to rehab. This program provides a much more flexible solution by removing the cost and time factors associated with most treatment.
